NOLA Bookfair report...
Last night at the Dragon's Den,
Daphne stole the show, performing a piece from
Why Things Burn, a new piece about dating a suicide artist from a chapbook, and finally "Slut" from
Final Girl. All the readers were great--see the
NOLA bookfair site for details and links--the other highlights being Lucy Corin (a story re: Lucas & Otis with cameos by other serial killers), Susannah Breslin (a story re: a pornographer), Stephen Graham Jones (Native-American sci-fi), and Nathan Ballingrud (an entry from a dictionary of imaginary diseases).
We're off to the bookfair this morning, as soon as we shake the late-night outta our heads and roll outta bed.
